

Wide angle lenses for portraits? What are you, crazy?
Actually, no. I have used wide angle lenses for portraits before and they've worked out great. If you stay aware of your subject and the surroundings, you can actually create some gorgeous images. It gives another perspective to your portrait because it adds elements that would otherwise be omitted or cropped out due to your portrait lens' capability. Painted Peaks
I took this image at the end of a long day spent in Yellowstone National Park. Just earlier in the day, I went on a hike that started right across the street from this spot and during my hike, I could see these peaks at different angles and with different light.
